Horseshoe Bay is a 30 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, depending on traffic.

At Horseshoe Bay:

if you are driving, follow the signs for the Bowen Island ferry. The ferry takes approx. 22 minutes to cross over to our island. When you exit, drive strait for approx. 800m until you see the large sign on the left at the turnoff to Artisan Square. You’ll find us at the end of the cul de sac. Park anywhere, but please leave the upper spaces available for day shoppers if you are staying longer than one night. There is plenty of parking on the slightly lower road.

If you are walking onto the ferry, you must enter the ferry terminal in the village of Horseshoe Bay. When you exit the ferry, you have two choices:

-take a bus to Artisan Square by walking towards the Library about 50ft from the ferry. You will see buses waiting for ferry passengers…The 280 or the 282 will take you to Artisan Square.

-by walking…approximately 15 minutes, mostly uphill. The easiest route is to walk up the right side of the road, past the first major intersection, then cross the road at the new Community Center on our right, walk up the little road and take the trail on your right (do not enter the cul de sac of residential houses.) The trail is short and leads you to another paved road that takes you directly up to Artisan Square.
